Our Roots Are in The Industry!

Expanded production, R&D, and global distribution

From servicing farm equipment in the 1970s to launching our own Penta mixer production in 2000 (the first models rolling in early 2001), we’ve continuously raised the bar. Our expansion accelerated in 2009 with dump trailers, separate factories for R&D, and more production capacity—each step building on experience and initiative.

Our Story

Penta Equipment is an agricultural machinery company. Rooted in the farming community, we’ve grown from dairy equipment sales and service into an international leader in innovative farm machinery.

Founded by lifelong agriculturalists, Penta was born from the real-life challenges of farm life. Our founders—and most of our team—still operate on the land they grew up on.

We provide farmers worldwide with robust, precision-engineered equipment that increases efficiency and uptime. We strive to set the benchmark in agricultural machinery—across mixing, spreading and hauling.

On-Site Manufacturing,

Our Glencoe plant serves as Penta’s head office and is the central hub for human resources, finance, engineering, and core manufacturing operations. Here, we manage every step of the fabrication process—from steel cutting, bending, and rolling to advanced welding procedures. The facility houses state-of-the-art manufacturing technology including laser and plasma cutting systems, robotic welding stations, and lathes.

This location is also home to our powder coating operation, where smaller parts and components are blasted and painted to meet our durability standards. All frames, tubs, and components undergo rigorous quality checks before they are shipped to the Thamesville site via our internal logistics fleet. This seamless inter-facility transport ensures just-in-time delivery and a continuous production flow.

And Assembley!

The Thamesville facility turns raw materials into finished equipment, handling surface prep, painting, and final assembly for all major Penta product lines. It also supports engineering, logistics, parts sales, and service operations.

Vinyl printing and cutting are done in-house for all labels and branding. Each unit undergoes multi-stage quality checks and a final inspection before being shipped to dealers across North America.
